When I heard about this on TechCrunch today, I was immediately intrigued. The adult industry is notorious for a take no prisoners approach to product development - it will have your eyeballs and your wallet, even if it means opening 300 pop-up windows and installing a dialer that calls premium rate numbers in Karachi when you’re not looking.
Great products make business needs dovetail with what the user wants, and HeatSeek nails it expertly.
After a lightweight download (about 2MB), the installation process gives you a number of privacy-related options, including the ability to change the program’s default icon and give it a different name.
Once Fishing Master 5.0 has finished installing, you select an password (you can’t start it without one) and the program launches. There are a bunch more privacy options you can set inside the app as well:
Beyond privacy, there are a bunch of features related to improving the browsing, download and viewing experience. The browser contains built-in buttons that allow you to download all images or movies on the page in one click. There is no tabbed browsing, however, as the browser is built on top of Internet Explorer.
All downloads go into a built-in clip organizer, which is encrypted and can only be accessed from within HeatSeek, keeping your salacious media away from prying eyes.
The makers of the browser have been very smart in selecting features to put behind the pay barrier. You need to upgrade to the Gold version if you want to either a) change the browser homepage or b) take your downloaded media files outside the HeatSeek encrypted sandbox. Either way, these guys can’t lose: if you pay, great, if you stay with the free version, they make money from the affiliate traffic they’ll generate from owning the browser homepage. Elegant. I’m surprised nothing like this has appeared sooner - these guys are going to do very well.

So okay, I found out my father is using it, and then I got 79 types of viruses all over my brand new computer, so then, tell me, how o I uninstall it from my PC, also tell me how to uninstall “Acces-sex” and”nocreditcard” from my PC.

This thing is a VIRUS MAGNET! I personally think that it is purposefully designed to trick users to mistakenly downloading “trojan” viruses in order to trick people into purchasing fake solutions.
Using heatseek to view certain sites invites the user to download a type of Windows Media viewer; it looks totally like a real invite to download a codec or something … and you’re actually downloading this virus that HIJACKS your IE, making it unuseable. Anytime you try to open IE, it automatically blocks any webcite you attempt to go to, and goes to some bogus “virus” warning page.
Actually, Craig W is completely wrong. There is zero spyware in HeatSeek (see this: http://www.softpedia.com/progClean/Heatseek-Clean-45036.html), and nothing extra is downloaded at all. Your comment about Windows Media “viewer” is just plain wrong as well. The truth is, Windows Media Player is standard on *every* single Microsoft operating system since Windows 2000, so nothing further is ever needed.
HeatSeek actually does it’s best to *protect* users against popups, viruses, and the like. The probable reason any computer gets something evil is that nothing is foolproof against very malicious websites, and that includes HeatSeek, FireFox, IE, and anything else.
We’re sorry you ended up with viruses on your computer. One thing we do better than most browsers is let you completely turn off script execution from the Edit->Preferences menu. This will prevent a lot of sites from installing anything evil on your system.

Do not use Heatseek. Biggest piece of cr*P. The browser uses the IE engine and is not secure. I used the browser which came on the Cruzer thumb drive thinking it would be secure and free from using the existing c:\ drive file directory. Ohhh no. It uses the standard IE c:\ internet temp directory folders so all your browsing activity is available to all eyes. Even when setup on a usb drive. Provided a false sense of security.
I’ve been using heatseek for a long time and it works great. Nobody has ever found any of my private files even though my roommates often use my computer.
